There also several new resources which you can obtain in your campaigns. So you either have to negotiate trade deals or have to conquer regions that hold the required resources. Most buildings now require resources to be built, especially economically valuable buildings. You´ll also have more diplomatic options to choose from. ![]() Other factions will not endlessly hate you anymore after a war but are more open to negotiations. This leads to situations where you may be caught in a multi front war or where you have to face other large AI factions mid to late campaign.
